A motor car is also known as a car or an automobile, which is actually a wheeled motor vehicle mainly used in the transportation of people from one place to another. Such a car is designed in a way so that it is able to carry its own engine or its own motor. Most definitions of cars suggest that automobiles are designed so that they can run on roads with varying seating capacities. Some automobiles can have space for just one person while others can have space for around four people. The word automobile is derived from the ancient Greek, French and Latin words which mean any vehicle that is known to move by its own mechanism. Such a vehicle was run by its own technology and not pushed and pulled by any animal or any other vehicle which was the usual way in those days.
